Patak's Curry Pastes make excellent marinades, used on their own or blended 50:50 with plain yogurt. Marinate meat then bake, BBQ or grill.
Suggested Recipe: Chicken Tikka
Serves 2
Ingredients: 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil 1 Medium Onion, Diced 60g - 1/5 jar Patak's Tikka Curry Paste 250g Large Diced Chicken Pieces 2 tsp / 60ml Plain Yoghurt Mixed Salad Leaves Lemon Slices to Garnish
Method:
1. Mix together Patak's Tikka Curry Paste, oil and yoghurt with chicken pieces. Marinade meat for a few hours or overnight for a fuller flavour.
2. Bake chicken uncovered in oven at 180°C / 350°F / gas mark 4 until cooked or alternatively BBQ or grill.
Garnish with lemon slices and serve hot or cold with mixed salad and Raita.
Equally delicious with fish, lamb, or prawns. |
