Patak's Curry Pastes make excellent marinades, used on their own or blended 50:50 with plain yogurt. Marinate meat then bake, BBQ or grill.
Suggested Recipe: Extra Hot Chicken Curry
Serves 2
Ingredients: 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil 1 Medium Onion Diced 70g - 1/4 jar Patak's Extra Hot Curry Paste 250g Diced Chicken 100ml Water 200g Fresh or Canned Chopped Tomatoes 1 tsp Fresh Chopped Coriander Leaf (optional)
Method:
In a medium sized pan, gently fry the onions in oil until golden.
Stir in Patak's Extra Hot Curry Paste, add the chicken and stir fry until sealed.
Add the tomatoes and water, mix well and cover the pan. Simmer on a low heat for 20mins.
Serve garnished with the chopped coriander leaf.
Cook's Tip: Add a tablespoon of mango chutney during cooking for a hot, fruity curry.
